    Robots

    The most important basic component of the robot milling machine is obviously the robot itself. We have selected Stäubli because of the extremely robust construction. Moreover, all cables are flush in the robot so they can easily withstand a dusty environment.

  • Milling motor

    Milling motor

    Second in line is the milling motor itself. The size of the milling motor used is adapted to the size of the robot. The milling motor is available with manual collet or with tool changer.

  • Fixed table

    Fixed table

    The standard versions are equipped with a vacuum table. This is a solid high pressure laminate plate with an inverse honeycomb structure. The flow rate of the vacuum pump is related to the size of the robot. The vacuum system easily allows the workpieces to be clamped tight.

  • Rotary table

    Rotating table

    The rotation versions are provided with a servo-controlled rotary table with a surface area depending on the robot used. The use of a rotating table opens up very many possibilities for machining parts on all sides. The table can turn simultaneously with the working robot.

  • Track

    Track

    With the track versions the robot is positioned on a servo-driven track. As a result, long parts in particular can be processed as the robot can move along the track during other robot milling movements.

  • Hand-held

    Hand-held

    Manual operation includes all direct operating devices. One can go closer to the machine for manual movements or checks before starting milling.

  • Measuring system

    When replacing a milling cutter the system itself can determine the cutter length. Manually measuring and entering is then not required.

  • Feeler

    A feeler can be very useful for sensing positions on the workpiece.

  • Tool changer

    Tool changer

    If a tool has to be changed often, a tool changer is a must. The robot then automatically changes tool and can continue to work autonomously.

  • Cooling

    When milling metals (aluminium, copper) the cooling of the tool is indispensable.

  • Figures

    Figures and art

    Artistic objects are ideally suitable for milling by robot. This is particularly the case when different copies are required. One very quickly has a lifelike model from a drawn 3D image.
