Grinding robot for grinding away welds

This CNC robot can grind away a weld on the workpieces until it is no longer visible (Ra < 0.8 µm). This finish is achieved by using multiple tools (roughing + finishing).

The robot CNC machine used: U200.

Deburring robot

When the workpiece is folded and punched, there is a risk of burrs at the holes and at the ends. Using a custom-made tool and the constant force, the robot removes burrs in less than twenty seconds. The workpieces are automatically fed by a second robot.

Grinding robot with toolchange

When the workpiece is welded, the welds must be ground flat. Because the robot has a tool change system, it is possible to finish the entire work piece without the intervention of an operator.
