A well-known player in the world of bathrooms and wellness, Villeroy & Boch manufactures baths and showers at its Roeselare (Belgium) facility. The company was looking for a solution for some complex operations in baths.
Cycle times halved
"We needed a machine to mill various overflow and drain openings and edges in all kinds of shapes and dimensions, for various types of baths. We were able to halve the cycle times of our most complex products thanks to this robotic CNC machine," says Jan van Vooren, process engineer at Villeroy & Boch.
From 3D to execution with SprutCAM
"We start with a 3D drawing of a bath or other product. In SprutCAM, we can start selecting the different openings and edges and perform different milling operations on them. The machine then performs those."
